The natural surroundings in which it is located allow for doing nature routes where you can find small Romanic chapels: Santa Barbara, Santa Pelaia, Sant Quintí,… Springs: Vermell, Mosquera, Tilló… Forests and monumental trees, such as Pi Gros or Nerola. You can also complete a bit of the trail Sender Gran Recorregut GR-1 or the path Camí dels Bons Homes.
In the mountain of Alinyà they organise some activities to learn about the four species of vultures and in the Zoo dels Pirineus you will see an exhibition of birds of prey and you will observe local plants and animals.
Discover the world of salt visiting the saline soils Salines de Cambrils, Centre de Natura d’Odèn, where they will tell you about the ancient salt mining from salty water springs.
Climb different routes of Roca de Canalda or Roc del Migdia, practise speleology and go deep inside chasms of the area, such as Montserrat Ubach, or visit archaeological sites, such as the megalithic of Sàlzer or La Caixa del Moro d’Odèn.
In autumn you can come to look for mushrooms in one of the many forests in the surrounding area.
The location is just half hour far from villages such as Solsona, Sant Llorenç de Morunys, Coll de Nargó, Organyà, and the ski resort of Port del Comte or the river beach of Ogern.
